Alexander dominates Purdy, Mayweather or Khan could be next

IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander improved to 25-1, 14 KO's as he dominated Lee Purdy by 7th round TKO. Alexander proved to be to much from the start as he used his dominating speed and combinations to outclass Purdy over seven rounds. Purdy came forward with his hand up the entire fight allowing himself to be a punching bag as Alexander used his quicker hands to land everywhere on Purdy's body and head. Purdy occasionally landed punches in between Alexander's combinations but never had enough power behind them to back off Alexander. Alexander claimed to have an injured hand in the first round but continued the quick cominbations to dominate through the fight. Purdy's corner stopped the fight at the end of the seventh round.
