It was one of the most anticipated matchups in the heavyweight division ever since former heavyweight champion David Haye decided to make his return to the ring. The fans were hoping that eventually they would see a matchup between Haye and heavyweight contender Tyson Fury. Well, the fight was mad, and the fans have spoken.
Today held the press conference, and the opening of ticket sales for Fury vs Haye scheduled for September 27th at the Manchester Arena. Within three hours of being available, Fury vs Haye sold over 10,000 tickets and it expected to be a sellout by the time the fight rolls around. For boxing, that's a huge success, for the heavyweight division, it's absolutely amazing. The Manchester Arena holds around 20,000 seats, all of which are expected to be filled come fight night.
