Jacobs brutally KO's Lorenzo on the premiere of Monday Night Fights

In the Fox Sports 1 premiere of Monday Night Fights on national television, Danny Jacobs showed that he was deserving of a Main Event spot as he demolished Giovanni Lorenzo with a third round KO. Jacobs landed a huge left hook followed by a right hand that sent Lorenzo to the canvas, where he was unable to get up for the first time in his career. The win streak continues for Jacobs, who after losing to Dmitry Pirog three years ago, was diagnosed with Cancer and was told by the doctors he would never box again. After putting the cancer into remission, Jacobs returned to the ring and hasn't lost since. Jacobs improves to 26-1 with 23 KO's.

On the undercard, 2012 Olympians Marcus Browne and Terrell Gausha both won by KO's. Brown defeated Robert Hill with a first round KO and Gausha defeated Austin Marcum by 2nd round KO.

Monday Night Fights continues on September 2nd on the new Fox Sports 1.
