Matchroom Boxing Signs first American Boxer Daniel Jacobs

Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing are delighted to announce their first American signing as Brooklyn native Daniel Jacobs, (32-2, 29 KO’s) pens a multi-fight deal as part of Matchroom Boxing’s new venture in the US. With is first fight all ready set, Daniel Jacobs will face Luis Arias in a schedule 10 round middleweight bout. The fight will take place on November 11th @ Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, New York, USA, airing live on HBO boxing.

We last seen Daniel Jacobs, in action on march 18th when he lost to Gennady Golovkin by a UD. Still sporting an 85% knockout ration he has knocked out every opponent since his 1st lost in 2010 against Dmitry Pirog.

Luis Arias is currently undefeated and coming off a TKO win over Arif Magomedov this past June. He started his professional career in 2012 with a few known fighters on his current record. He fought, Darryl Cunningham, Scott Sigmon and Arif Magomedov.
