Jeff Horn made a mainstream name for himself in July 2017 when he controversy defeated Manny Pacquiao to win the welterweight title. Since then Horn made the first defense of the title in December 2017 against Gary Corcoran. Horn has a few recognizable names on his resume, Randall Bailey, Ali Funeka and Viktor Plotnikov. He is currently undefeated with a 63% knockout ratio. He has an aggressive come forward style that makes a lot of fighters look bad.

Terence Crawford recently became the first fighter to unify all four belts in any weight division since Jermain Taylor in 2006. Unlike Horn, Crawford's resume is stacked with names like, Felix Diaz, John Molina Jr, Viktor Postol, Henry Lundy, Yuriorkis Gamboa.. to name a few. Crawford is a raising superstar in the sport, adaptability, great boxing skills and killer instinct.

Crawford is a sizable favorite (-850) over the Australian (+525). Why? No one and I mean NO ONE expects Jeff Horn to win. Horn has a swarming come forward style and is relentless. No one believed he beat Pacquiao. Terence Crawford is a slick top talented boxer that is stacked with all the weapons. Thus far in his career he has shown great adaptability, great boxing skills and killer instinct. We have this feeling Crawford may be the next big thing dominating the "money" weight-class.

The fight has been deemed as a mismatch according to the oddsmakers and the boxing community. Its going to be an interesting match up. Horn, underrated speed, skills and boxing command of the ring against a slick, smooth switch-hitter. Styles make fight and this is an interesting clash of styles.

I don't expect Horn to win, I don't expect him to last more the 5 rounds. However Horn is one of those fighter that might just surprise all of us.
