Golden Boy Promotions ending the year with long anticipated Rocha vs, Curiel

Golden Boy Promotions is closing out the year with an exciting fight night on Saturday, December 14. A press conference held today in Ontario, Calif., announced the highly anticipated 12-round clash between two world title contenders: NABO Welterweight Titleholder Alexis “Lex” Rocha (25-2, 16 KOs) and undefeated knockout artist Raul “El Cugar” Curiel (15-0, 13 KOs). The event will take place at Toyota Arena in Ontario, with doors opening at 1 p.m. PT, the Golden Boy Fight Night: Rocha vs. Curiel Prelims livestream beginning at 1:30 p.m. PT, and the DAZN broadcast kicking off at 5 p.m. PT.

Tickets for the event are available for $100, $75, $50, and $25, with limited VIP Experience tickets offering exclusive merchandise and upgrades. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, Toyota-Arena.com, GoldenBoy.com, or the Toyota Arena box office (Monday–Friday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.).

Co-Main Event:

Charles “Bad News” Conwell (20-0, 15 KOs), a highly ranked, undefeated world title contender, will face Gerardo Vergara (20-0, 13 KOs) in a 10-round super welterweight fight.

In a 10-round super flyweight contest for the vacant WBA Continental North America Super Flyweight Title, John “Scrappy” Ramirez (13-1, 9 KOs) will seek redemption against undefeated Ephraim Bui (10-0, 8 KOs).

Marlen Esparza (14-2, 1 KO), a U.S. Olympic medalist and former unified world champion, will meet Arely “Ametralladora” Muciño (32-4-2, 11 KOs) in a 10-round super flyweight bout.

Opening the DAZN broadcast with a 10-round super featherweight fight, Victor “El Tornado” Morales (19-0-1, 9 KOs) will take on Jose Ortiz (16-2-1, 6 KOs).
