In an action-packed firefight that had fans on edge from start to finish, super middleweight contender Bektemir “Bek” Melikuziev (16-1, 10 KOs) of Shoimbek, Uzbekistan, came out on top in a dramatic 12-round WBA super middleweight title eliminator, defeating the previously unbeaten Darius “DFG” Fulghum (14-1, 12 KOs). The bout headlined a special edition of Golden Boy Fight Night live on DAZN from The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Melikuziev faced plenty of adversity throughout the night, including a cut near his left eye sustained in the fourth round and a point deduction for holding in the seventh. Despite the setbacks, he sealed the win with a knockdown in the final round, showcasing grit and determination.
