CES Boxing Brings 'Mill City Mayhem' to Lowell Memorial Auditorium on June 21

Get ready for a night of hard-hitting action as CES Boxing returns to the historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, June 21 at 6 PM with "Mill City Mayhem" — a stacked fight card featuring two WBC champions in non-title bouts and some of the Northeast’s most promising boxing talent.

Main Event: Ellis vs. Ruiz

Headlining the event is "Speedy" Rashidi Ellis (26-1, 17 KOs), the WBC US Silver Welterweight Champion from Lynn, MA. Known as the "Savage with a Smile," the 31-year-old Ellis faces tough veteran Josec "The Scorpion" Ruiz (24-8-3, 17 KOs) of Honduras. Ranked #8 by the WBO, Ellis is pushing toward a potential title clash with WBO Welterweight Champion Brian Norman, Jr., but first must get past Ruiz — a seasoned opponent who’s gone toe-to-toe with top names like Henry Lebron, Alex Martin, and Gabriel Flores, Jr.

Co-Main Event: Hogan vs. Hernandez

In the co-feature, unbeaten WBC US Silver Middleweight Champion Francis "Frank the Tank" Hogan (19-0, 16 KOs) of Weymouth, MA, continues his rise as he faces Puerto Rico’s battle-tested Luis Hernandez (16-9, 9 KOs). Hogan captured the WBC title in February 2024 and has successfully defended it three times, most recently dominating Khiary Gray by unanimous decision. Hernandez brings deep experience to the ring, having fought high-level competition like Rashidi Ellis, Terrell Gausha, and Esquiva Falcao.
