Keyshawn Davis vs. Edwin De Los Santos Bout Canceled; Mason vs. Nakathila Named New Main Event

The highly anticipated lightweight clash between Keyshawn Davis and Edwin De Los Santos has been called off after Davis failed to make weight earlier today. As a result, Davis has been stripped of the WBO lightweight world title.

Saturday’s event at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, will still go on, now headlined by a 10-round lightweight battle between undefeated prospect Abdullah Mason and Namibian contender Jeremia Nakathila.

In addition, the junior welterweight bout between Kelvin Davis and Nahir Albright has been elevated to co-main event status. Both the Mason-Nakathila and Davis-Albright fights will air live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+ starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.

The undercard will stream exclusively on ESPN+, with coverage kicking off at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT.

Fans who wish to request a refund must do so through their original point of purchase. The refund deadline is Saturday, June 7, at 5 p.m.

Please note that venue doors will now open at 5 p.m., and the first fight is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
