A thrilling showdown is set for Thursday, July 24, as Coachella Valley’s own Manuel “Gucci Manny” Flores (20-1, 16 KOs) faces off against the undefeated Jorge “El Niño Dorado” Chavez (14-0, 8 KOs) in a high-stakes, 10-round super bantamweight main event. The bout will take place at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and will stream live worldwide on DAZN, beginning at 6 p.m. PT.
“This is more than just a fight—it’s personal,” said Flores. “This is my home, my crowd, and my legacy on the line. Every second in that ring, I’m fighting for my people and for everything I represent.”
Chavez, confident and hungry, responded: “I’m pumped to headline in front of my Southern California supporters. Fantasy Springs is just a short drive from San Diego, and I know my fans will show out. Manny Flores is a tough opponent, and this is exactly the kind of test I’ve been waiting for. I’m ready to level up, and this win will prove I belong with the best.”

About the Fighters:
Manuel “Gucci Manny” Flores – Fighting out of Coachella, CA, Flores made his pro debut in 2017 and quickly earned a reputation for his relentless offense and knockout power. Though he suffered a setback in June 2023 with a decision loss to Walter Santibanes, he’s rebounded impressively—racking up five consecutive KO victories. His most recent win came via a stunning fourth-round knockout against Jorge Leyva at Fantasy Springs. Trained by Joel and Antonio Diaz at the renowned Diaz Training Camp in Indio, Flores trains alongside top-tier talent like Israil Madrimov, Murodjon Akhmadaliev, and Batyr Akhmedov. With momentum on his side, Flores is looking to make a statement against Chavez.
Jorge “El Niño Dorado” Chavez – Representing Tijuana and based in San Diego, Chavez boasts a 60-7 amateur record and brings a strong boxer-puncher style to the ring. Despite limited amateur travel opportunities, his drive and discipline led him to a promising pro career. Since debuting in November 2021, Chavez has built an undefeated record, recently showcasing his skills against Brandon Douglas in a fan-favorite clash on the Fundora vs. Badillo undercard. After signing with Golden Boy in late 2023, Chavez has emerged as a must-watch talent. He trains under Hector Lopez in Santa Ana alongside elite fighters like Alexis Rocha, Ronny Rios, and Bryan Lua. On July 24, he faces his biggest challenge yet in Manuel Flores.
This July 24 battle between two of Golden Boy’s most electrifying prospects is more than a main event—it’s a career-defining moment. Don’t miss it.
