Eddie Hearn launches fresh attack on Dana White and Zuffa

Since Dana White and Zuffa Boxing entered the world of boxing, White has been involved in a constant back-and-forth with Matchroom Sport chairman Eddie Hearn, with neither holding back in their views of each other. Hearn recently spoke to Fight Hub TV, where he took another verbal swing at Dana and Zuffa. While the two go back and forth through interviews and on social media, boxing fans can also enjoy other entertainment such as how to play bingo, while the big fights are being made. In the meantime, there have been fireworks back and forth that are only intensifying.

Eddie Hearn vs Dana White

The verbal jousting between Hearn and White has been entertaining, with White attacking the quality of Matchroom shows, while Hearn has taken great pleasure in rubbishing the Zuffa shows at the Apex. Hearn’s dislike of Zuffa really accelerated when they signed Conor Benn, who was promoted by Matchroom and supported through all his much-publicised troubles.

Recently, a fight between the two was rumoured, with Hearn appearing more open than White was. In a recent interview with IFLTV, White referred to Hearn as an “egotistical f***ing maniac,” in reference to Hearn welcoming a potential fight between the two.

Hearn takes fresh swipe at White and Zuffa

Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Hearn said of White: “Dana White’s having a nightmare. I mean, right now, I’ve got to be honest with you, his but-cheeks must be so red raw because all I’m doing is spanking him all the time. I mean, his UFC’s gone to pot. It’s having the worst year it’s ever had. The boxing stuff they’re doing is awful. He called me out for a fight. I accepted. He s**t his pants.

“Then they saw some joke picture someone put out with hair dye running down my face, and he actually thought it was real. He’s had so many L’s. I don’t know what to say. I’m living completely rent-free in Dana White’s head. And I’m just disappointed he didn’t stand up to his word of fighting me.”

Eddie Hearn vs Dana White would be a spectacle, certainly. It wouldn’t be one for the boxing purists, but it’s difficult to see how people wouldn’t watch in their millions. If they’re not going to fight, let's see a Matchroom vs Zuffa 5v5 at some point.

If nothing else, it would lead to huge revenue on both sides—and isn’t that their main goal anyway?
