Brandon Daord vs Ndabezinhle Phiri vacant IBO World Flyweight

Brandon Daord will feature in the biggest fight of his career on September 12 when he welcomes Zimbabwe’s Ndabezinhle Phiri to Liverpool’s Boxpark with the vacant IBO flyweight title on the line.
Daord has long been considered one of boxing’s best kept secrets, but he exploded onto the domestic scene in 2025 when he captured the British super-flyweight title with a hard-fought points win over Matt McHale in Scotland.
That win was a platform for Daord to push on and compete for bigger prizes, and he started 2026 in an impressive manner when he won the WBC International flyweight belt with victory against Keyvin Lara.
