Thurman last fought July 7, when he stopped Luis Collazo after seven rounds. Porter is coming off the biggest victory of his career in a 12RD UD over Adrien Broner on June 20th, Scores were: judges: Adalaide Byrd 112-114, Eric Cheek 108-118, Dave Moretti 111-115. Porter was down in the 12th. Both Thurman & Porter are coming from lengthy layoffs.
