Tim Tszyu is set to battle Joey Spencer on April 6

Former WBO junior middleweight champion Tim Tszyu (24-2, 17 KOs) is poised to return to contention on April 6 in New Castle, Australia, where he will take on Joey Spencer (19-1, 11 KOs).

Tszyu has been relatively quiet since his crushing third-round knockout defeat to IBF champion Bakhram Murtazaliev (23-0, 17 KOs) in October. Having taken some time off following that loss, he’s now ready to re-enter the competitive mix. Spencer, though active throughout his career, has yet to reach the level of success many once anticipated for him.

The bout will be streamed live on Prime Video in the U.S.
