Bio
Formerly trained by former professional boxer Emanuel Steward. At the 2003 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Bangkok Lee was beaten on points by Gennady Golovkin. Lee earned a bronze medal at this competition and thereby qualified, as the only boxer, to represent Ireland at the Olympics.

McEwen was surprisingly dominant over the first half of the fight. The heavily favored Lee mounted a comeback down the stretch and dropped McEwan in round nine. Lee finished him in round ten.
