Joshua vs. Fury Signed for Nov 20th Madison Square Garden

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have signed contracts for a November 20 showdown at Madison Square Garden in New York, according to a report from the Daily Mail. If confirmed, it would bring to an end one of the longest-running sagas in modern heavyweight boxing, a matchup that has collapsed at the negotiating table more times than fans care to count.
Fury did little to cool the speculation. Posting to social media on Tuesday, the "Gypsy King" teased that something major was imminent.
"I've got some big news that's going to be dropped very, very soon," Fury said. "All is good in the hood, big fight on the horizon. It's the one you've all been waiting for. About to be announced imminently. Stay tuned."

Venue Battle
The sticking point in negotiations, per the Daily Mail, was never the money or the matchup — it was the map. Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn had lobbied hard for the fight to land on home soil, and the report claims a UK venue was actually written into Joshua's contract as a stipulation.
Saudi boxing power broker Turki Alalshikh was reportedly open to staging the event in the United Kingdom, provided the numbers made sense. According to the Mail, they didn't. With the financial case for a British venue falling short, the fight shifted across the Atlantic to the most famous arena in boxing.
For a rivalry born in British rings and built on years of back-and-forth between the two camps, there's a certain irony in it being settled under the lights of Madison Square Garden.

What Comes Next
For now, an element of caution is warranted. Neither camp has publicly confirmed the deal, and no formal announcement has been made. But with contracts reportedly signed and Fury openly teasing news, the announcement fans have waited years for may only be days away.
