Fighters First Management Re-Signs Welterweight Champion Brian Norman Jr. and Top Prospects Pauldo & Figueroa

Fighters First Management announced the re-signing of three of its top stars—WBO Welterweight World Champion Brian Norman Jr., lightweight contender Justin Pauldo, and rising prospect Justin Figueroa—at a press conference held Tuesday in the Atlanta area.

Led by President Jolene Mizzone and CEO Adrian Clark, Fighters First celebrated the multi-year extensions as a milestone in the company’s rapid growth in the boxing world.

“It’s been an amazing journey building Fighters First and building these fighters up,” said Clark. “I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

“These three have been through adversity and handled it like champions,” added Mizzone. “We’re a family, and I thank them for having faith in us.”

Brian Norman Jr. Eyes Japan Title Defense

Norman (27-0, 21 KOs), fresh off a successful first defense of his WBO welterweight title in March, confirmed he’ll make his second defense on June 19 in Japan against Jin Sasaki.

“I wasn’t supposed to be here—especially not this young—but here I am, a world champion,” said Norman. “We’re still running, still rising, and with Fighters First, the future is limitless.”

Norman also credited his father and trainer, Brian Norman Sr., for shaping his journey since childhood.

Justin Pauldo Returns June 7 in San Antonio

Ranked in the top 15 by both the WBC and WBO, Pauldo (18-2, 9 KOs) is coming off a statement-making knockout of former world champion Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov in February. His next fight is set for June 7 in San Antonio, with opponent and event details to be announced soon.

“It’s been a pleasure being part of Fighters First,” said Pauldo. “This year is just the beginning. We’re coming for big fights and a world title.”

Atlantic City Favorite Justin Figueroa Back August 23

Atlantic City’s own Figueroa (12-0, 10 KOs), who stopped Mario Gaston Rios in two rounds in March, is scheduled to return on August 23, also in San Antonio. A popular draw in his hometown, Figueroa aims to continue climbing the super featherweight ranks.

“These past three years have been a blessing,” Figueroa said. “With Fighters First behind me, I’m excited for what’s next.”

As all three fighters extend their partnerships with Fighters First, Norman expressed confidence in the future of the trio:

“We’ve come up together, and Pauldo and Figueroa are next in line to become champions. Soon, we’ll have more belts than this table can hold.”
