CES Boxing Brings Mill City Mayhem 2 Back to Lowell on September 6

Championship-caliber boxing returns to Micky Ward country on Saturday, September 6, when Mill City Mayhem 2 takes over the historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $80 and can be purchased through CESFights.com or the Lowell Memorial Auditorium website. With demand expected to be high, fans are encouraged to secure their seats early.

Main Event: Michael Fontanez Headlines

Undefeated junior middleweight prospect Michael “The Blessed Southpaw” Fontanez (12-0, 8 KOs) steps into the spotlight in his first headlining bout. The Nashua, NH product has continued to climb the ranks with a string of impressive victories, including knockouts over Bruno Romay, Ray Oliveira Jr., and most recently Noah Kidd at the same venue in June. Riding momentum, “Salsa Mike” looks to thrill Lowell fans once again as he takes the next step in his career.

Co-Main Event: Kevin Walsh Defends WBC US Silver Featherweight Title

Reigning WBC US Silver Featherweight Champion “King” Kevin Walsh (17-0, 9 KOs) puts both his belt and unbeaten record on the line against experienced Dominican challenger Angel “El Gato” Luna. Walsh, from Brockton, MA, has become one of New England’s top rising stars, defeating rivals such as Irvin Gonzalez, Ricky de los Santos, and Tremaine Williams. Luna, a crafty veteran, aims to derail Walsh’s world title aspirations in front of a charged Massachusetts crowd.

Jaydell “The Pazmanian Devil” Pazmino (7-0, 7 KOs), CES’ newest knockout sensation, returns for his third fight of 2025 against rugged Nicaraguan Giovanni Gutierrez. The Londonderry, NH powerhouse has stopped every opponent to date and looks to extend his perfect KO streak.

Jayson Colon (1-0, 1 KO), fighting out of Lowell, will look to electrify his hometown fans in a middleweight clash against Jhony Rodrigo Dos Santos (0-2-1) of Winchester, MA.
