MVP Card Delivers Action, Draws, And Upsets

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) continued its strong push for women’s boxing with MVPW-04 on Saturday night, June 13, 2026, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. The card, featuring four world title fights and streamed live on ESPN+, delivered a mix of competitive action, an upset, and a controversial main event that left fans debating the outcome.

Main Event: Oshae Jones vs. Elia Carranza 2 Ends in Split Draw

In a tense rematch for the IBF junior middleweight (super welterweight) world title, champion Oshae “Suga” Jones (9-0-1, 3 KOs) and challenger Elia Carranza (11-2-1, 3 KOs) fought to a split draw after 10 hard-fought rounds. Scores were 96-94 Jones, 94-96 Carranza, and 95-95 even.

Jones, the defending champion from Toledo, Ohio, looked to build on her split-decision win from their first meeting. Carranza pressed forward aggressively, making it a grueling battle of styles. The fight featured competitive exchanges, with neither fighter able to pull away decisively. The draw means Jones retains her title for now, but questions remain about future mandatory defenses and potential trilogy talks. Both fighters showed heart and skill in a bout that highlighted the depth in the 154-pound division.

Co-Main Event: Tiara Brown Defends WBC Featherweight Title

Tiara “The Dark Menace” Brown (21-0, 11 KOs) successfully defended her WBC featherweight crown against undefeated challenger Hannah “Hanarchy” Rapp (8-1-1, 5 KOs) via unanimous decision (scores approximately 97-93, 99-91, 99-91). Brown outworked Rapp with sharper combinations, ring generalship, and effective pressure over 10 rounds.

The Fort Myers, Florida, fighter maintained her perfect record and showcased why she’s a force at 126 pounds. Rapp, a game contender, had moments but couldn’t overcome Brown’s experience and power. This victory solidifies Brown’s status among the elite in women’s featherweight.

Other Main Card Highlights and Title Changes

• Estefany Alegria pulled off a major upset, defeating unified champion Evelin Bermudez by unanimous decision (99-91 x2, 100-90) to claim the IBF, WBA, and WBO light flyweight titles. Alegria’s relentless pressure and body work dominated the later rounds, handing Bermudez a clear loss in her promotional debut with MVP.

• Jasmine Artiga vs. Nataly Delgado in the WBA super flyweight title fight also saw a title change, with Delgado outpointing Artiga to become the new champion.

The main card underscored the competitiveness of MVPW’s platform, with rising prospects and established champions delivering high-level action.
