Diego Pacheco Scores TKO Victory

Carson, CA – July 18, 2026 — Unbeaten super middleweight contender Diego Pacheco (now 26-0, 19 KOs) put on a clinical performance against veteran Immanuwel Aleem (22-5-3), stopping him in the 11th round at Dignity Health Sports Park. Pacheco, working with new trainer Buddy McGirt, used steady pressure, sharp inside work, and body shots to break down the tough 32-year-old Aleem en route to the TKO.

Pacheco controlled the fight from the opening bell, gradually wearing Aleem down with volume and power. The stoppage came late as Aleem could no longer withstand the consistent punishment, further solidifying Pacheco as one of the top prospects at 168 lbs.

Promoter Eddie Hearn was impressed and immediately began calling for bigger names, with Jaime Munguia mentioned as a potential next opponent for the rising star.

Co-Main and Undercard Highlights

• Andy Cruz (lightweight) bounced back impressively, knocking out Abraham Montoya in the third round with a sharp right hand. The Cuban prospect looked sharp and explosive.

• Albert Gonzalez delivered a highlight-reel body-shot stoppage on the undercard, adding to the night’s knockout theme.

The DAZN-streamed Matchroom Boxing card delivered strong performances from the rising talents, with Pacheco’s methodical dismantling of a durable veteran standing out as the headline result. Pacheco remains a major player in the super middleweight division, and bigger fights appear on the horizon.
