Floyd Schofield vs Lucas Bahdi WBA Lightweight Title Fight

A 12-round WBA lightweight title fight between Floyd Schofield III (19-0, 13 KOs) and Lucas Bahdi (20-0, 15 KOs) tops this Golden Boy card, promoted in co-operation with Most Valuable Promotions and shown worldwide on DAZN. Bahdi, of Niagara Falls, Ontario, earned the mandatory challenger position with a 12-round unanimous decision over former world champion Roger Gutiérrez in a WBA title eliminator in August 2025, dropping Gutiérrez in the sixth round. Schofield last fought at the Honda Center in Anaheim, stopping Tevin Farmer in the first round of a scheduled 10-rounder; in November 2024 he won the WBA International lightweight title by unanimous decision over Rene Giron.

The co-feature, also scheduled for 12 rounds and co-promoted with Miguel Cotto Promotions, has Ricardo Sandoval (27-2, 18 KOs) of Rialto, California defending the unified WBC and WBA flyweight titles against Oscar Collazo (15-0, 12 KOs) of Villalba, Puerto Rico. Sandoval won both belts by split decision over Kenshiro Teraji in Japan on July 30, 2025. Collazo, a former WBO, WBA and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion, is moving up two divisions for the bout; in his most recent outing he made his flyweight debut against Neider Valdez, scoring three knockdowns in the second round before the stoppage and picking up the WBO International flyweight title.
