Robert Guerrero arrested at JFK airport, faces felony charges

Welterweight Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero was arrested earlier today for trying to bring an illegal weapon onto his flight to Las Vegas from JFK airport. Guerrero, who is expected to face Floyd Mayweather on May 4th at the MGM in Las Vegas, has a permit to carry the weapon in the state of California however does not have a license to carry a weapon in the state of New York. Guerrero's 40 caliber gun handgun was not loaded, and he was trying to claim having possession of the weapon before he was arrested. The arrest is not expected to threaten the fight againstbMayweather. Guerrero is expected to be charged with a felony with a maximum penalty of up to four years in prison if convicted.
