Mayweather broke his silence on twitter calling out Pacquiao for a fight on May 5th. Team Pacquiao responded to the tweet "Be a man Floyd & step up to the plate. Fight at the end of May & the fight is done.” and trainer Freddy roach chimed in with "He should look in the mirror. He's been ducking us for 2 years". Now both sides calling each other out however Mayweather wants the fight May 5th and Pacquiao wants the fight @ the end of May. The rumor is however that team Mayweather has already approached Robert Guerrero May 5th. Both camps seem to be missing the obvious that there are 2 other weeks in the middle of May and they could fight on the 12th. I know that putting together a fight like this is harder then just saying.. move it to the 12th of May. Mayweather may be blowing smoke knowing that Pacquiao cannot meet the May 5th day and already has an opponent lined up. This may be Team Mayweather's way of saying… "We Tried" but not really having any intention of setting up this fight. Also Arum seems to be the main problem in moving this fight forward in May. FightNights does not see this fighting happening in 2012. We may have to wait until May 4th 2013 to see the biggest fight in history.Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see.
