Garcia KO's Martinez, Donaire TKO's Darchinyan again

Mikey Garcia improved to 33-0, 28 KO's as he moved up in weight to win the WBO super featherweight title by defeating Roman Martinez with a 8th round KO. Garcia was able to comeback from a 2nd round knockdown to dominate Martinez with a stiff jab and continuous pressure. Martinez fell to 27-2, 16 KO's.

In the Co-Main event, Nonito Donaire (32-2, 21 KO's) was once again able to TKO Vic Darchinyan(39-6, 28 KO's), this time stopping him in the ninth round. The fight was a rematch from 2007 where Donaire defeated Darchinyan by fifth round TKO. 

Opening the card, undefeated 2008 olympian Demetrius Andrade (20-0, 13 KO's) pulled out a close split decision victory over the undefeated Vanes Martirosyan (33-1-1, 21 KO's). Scores were 112-115, 114-113, and 117-110.
