Garcia wins controversial decision, Wilder KO's Scott

Danny Garcia (28-0, 16 KO's) may have won the fight on the cards but most boxing analysts saw it otherwise. Garcia remained undefeated and retained his titles as he defeated Mauricio Herrera (20-4, 7 KO's) by Majority decision in Puerto Rico. Scores were 114-114, 116-112, and 116-112. While the judges made the final decisions, Showtime broadcasters and a wide variety of boxing analysts thought that Herrera clearly won the fight. Fightnights scored the fight 116-112 for Herrera. 

Stealing the show was undefeated US heavyweight Deontay Wilder (31-0, 31 KO's). The 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist destroyed Malik Scott (36-2-1) in the first round. Wilder has yet to go past four rounds in 31 professional fights.
