What was supposed to be a fight to help Anthony Mundine (46-6, 27 KO's) get a shot at some of the top fighters in the light middleweight division ended up being Mundine's worst nightmare. Joshua Clottey (38-4, 22 KO's) stole the show as he knocked down Mundine five times and battered him over twelve rounds to get a unanimous decision victory in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Scores were 115-109, 116-108, and 117-108 in favor of Clottey. Clottey is a well known name in the boxing world and the victory could land him against some solid junior middleweights the future.
