Matthysse Wins Epic Battle Over Molina

In a fight of the year candidate Lucas Matthysse (35-3, 33 KOs) won an amazing 12th RD KO over John Molina (27-4, 22 KOs). Molina started strong and buzzed Matthysse in round one. Molina then dropped Matthysse in round two.

In the third round Matthysse was cut over the left eye. Matthysse turned things around and thats when the war got bloody. Molina dropped Matthysse again in round five. Matthysse battered Molina in round six. Matthysse continued winning the exchanges in round seven and floored Molina in round eight. Matthysse finally knocked out the still hurt Molina in the eleventh. The corner should have stopped the fight at this time. Finally in the 12th Matthysse knocked out Molina.
