Farmer confident for Fox Sports 1 fight

Tomorrow night at the House of Blues in Boston, rising Super Featherweight Tevin Farmer (15-4-1, 3 KO's) will be in the main event when he takes on undefeated Emanuel Gonzalez (14-0, 7 KO's) in a 10-round fight that will headline a card that is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and will be televised live on Fox Sports 1.

Farmer has been on a a roll as he has won 8 consecutive fights since hooking up with Mark Cipparone and Club 1957 Management.

This fight, Farmer will be in a much better position to win then the last time he was seen on national television when he was stopped in 8-rounds by Jose Pedraza.

At that point of his career, Farmer was treating his career as a journeyman by taking fights on short notice.  In fact, he took the Pedraza fight on a few days and did not have the adequate recuperation for the former amateur star from Puerto Rico.

Fast forward to today.  Farmer has completely turned around his career as he not only has had a good amount of time to train for this fight but also was in camp with amateur legend and former and future world title challenger Vasyl Lomachenko.

"Tevin is extremely prepared for this fight,"said Club 1956 Management's Mark Cipparone.

"Eight fights ago, he decided that he wanted to become a player in boxing.  He came to me and he has trained and conducted himself like a champion.  He never had a proper trainer and training camp.  He has had that and he is more than ready for this opportunity on national television. This is a fight that Tevin knows can get him to the next level.  The training with Lomachenko was priceless and Tevin's confidence is sky high."
