Texas' García - who has won his last seven fights - is coming off a sixth-round TKO win over Victor Cayo on the May 1 edition of Friday Night Fights. Prescott, who hails from Colombia, is looking to score another victory following a 10-round unanimous decision win over Edison Garcia. Prescott enters Friday's fight having wins over high level opposition including: former WBA Super Lightweight titlist Amir Khan and current WBA Lightweight titlist Richard Abril.

García said, "I think of Prescott as I think of every other fighter - every fight is important...I never promise KOs or anything, but I do promise one thing - I'm a fighter. I'm a throwback fighter, I fight with everything I've got, and I leave it all out there. I give it my best."

Friday's 10-round co-feature will pit Middleweights Caleb "Golden" Truax (23-1-2, 14 KOs) of Minnesota against Pennsylvania's Derek "Pooh" Ennis (24-4-1, 13 KOs).
