Rios-Chaves in jeopardy due to Visa backlog, Zepeda may step in

Diego Chaves may be forced to withdraw from his welterweight showdown with Brandon Rios Saturday night scheduled to take place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV. An issue with the backlog in the Immigration of the United States has forced thousands of Visa applicants to be put on hold and as a result Chaves remains in Argentina just four days before the weigh-in. Top Rank has already said the show will go on regardless of whether or not Chaves can get into the country. Undefeated junior welterweight Jose Zepeda (19-0, 16 KO's) is likely to step in.
