Canelo injury forces December 6 withdrawl

Golden Boy Promotions and HBO are reviewing their options for the December 6 date.

The expectation is that Canelo will move ahead with his May 2nd fight against Miguel Cotto. Both Golden Boy and Top Rank have stated that they are interested in making the fight happen on May 2nd of 2015. Now nothing stands in the way of both companies putting the fight together. Cotto was also scheduled to return in December but pushed his fight back for training purposes.
