A second-degree battery warrant has been issued for the arrest of boxer Jermain Taylor in an altercation alleged to have occurred earlier this month at a rehabilitation center where Taylor is undergoing a substance-abuse program.
Court records show the warrant was issued by a Pulaski County District judge Thursday. Taylor is reportedly still at the treatment center, a lockdown facility where he was ordered by a judge.
A Pulaski County sheriff's office report in the May 13 altercation at the Oasis Renewal Center indicated Taylor had "possibly hit" another resident who was found injured but said he had no recollection of what happened.
