Heavyweight Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (36-4, 31 KOs) will be returning to the ring for the first time since March against an opponent to be named on CBS. Arreola will be the co-feature when undefeated IBF super bantamweight champ Carl Frampton (20-0, 14 KOs) makes his U.S. professional debut against Alejandro “Cobrita” Gonzalez Jr. (25-1-2, 15 KOs). The event will take place @ Don Haskins Center at UTEP in El Paso, Texas.
“I can’t wait to get back in the ring and show my skills on CBS,” said Arreola. “I’m about excitement and I know that everyone who comes out in El Paso and everyone watching on television will get an entertaining fight.”
Chris Arreola (36-4, 31 KOs). Arreola is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision win over Curtis Harper in March, this after he fell short of capturing the vacant WBC heavyweight title against Bermane Stiverne last May.
