Gonzalez vs Sosa July 2 LA Fight Club

“LA Fight Club” returns to the historic Belasco Theater on Thursday, July 2 to kickoff Fourth of July weekend celebrations with a special broadcast on FOX Deportes.

Unbeaten Puerto Rican junior welterweight prospect John Karl Sosa takes on battle-tested Mexican puncher Gilberto Gonzalez on July 2 in the main event of an “LA Fight Club” show at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles.

Gonzalez (25-3, 20 KOs), a tall and rangy 27-year-old native of Mexico City, has stopped his last six opponents, including a brutal fifth-round KO then-unbeaten (15-0) prospect Jeffrey Fontanez last August. Sosa (13-0, 6 KOs) is a talented 22 year old who, like Fontanez, hails from Caguas, Puerto Rico. The scheduled 10-round main event will be televised live on Fox Deportes.
