Antonio DeMarco Retires From Boxing

Antonio DeMarco has officially announced his retirement. DeMarco suffered another lost this past weekend against Rances Barthelemy @ MGM Grand, Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. This was his second in a row. A young fighter @ age 29 but an old boxer. He has been in a few hard fought battles that ages many boxers. His record stands at 31 victories, 23 of them by knockout, 5 loses and 1 draw.

De Marco suffered the 1st lost of his career against Juan Carlos Salgado when he was knocked out in the first round. He then won the WBC lightweight championship title in 2011 when he defeated Jorge Linares by TKO in the 11th round. After defeating Linares in 2011 he successfully defended twice, before losing it to Adrien Broner by TKO in RD 8.

De Marco was always a fan favor as he brought a lot of excitement to the ring. We wish the best for him ans his family.
