Matthysse vs Postol This Fall

Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya has revealed that negotiations has started between Lucas Matthysse and Viktor Postol camps. The fight will take place this September. “The talks have started. We’re hoping to put the fight together this fall. We’re talking to HBO about the fight,” De La Hoya said. Recently WBC ordered the Lucas vs Postol bout for the title.

Matthysse is coming off his big decision win this past April 18 against former Ruslan Provodnokiv & Viktor Postol recently defeated Jake Giuriceo by UD. This should be a good fight. Both fighters are known to give it their all in the ring.
