Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is currently in wrapping up training camp this week under the guidance of Robert Garcia. He is schedule to fight this Saturday against Marcos Reyes, @ Don Haskins Convention Center, El Paso, Texas, USA on Showtime. In a recent interview he stated that if he continues to win he wants to have two more fights this year.
Robert Gracia talked a bit about there current training. "It’s not that he couldn’t do it or he didn’t want to do it, he just needed that one person to be in charge.” – Robert Garcia. Chavez Jr. has been known to be very lazy during training. However it seems that the Gracia-Chavez team has been good to him, "I closed camp on Friday with six rounds of sparring to complete just over 100 rounds, which is something I have not done for a long time," Chavez Jr. told ESPN Deportes. "We know that this is a fight that could mark a new beginning, but it is also dangerous for me and my career, so we got the best work in many years."
The fight will air this Saturday on Showtime @ 10pm ET.
