Thurman-Collazo television ratings peaks at 1.2 million

The PBC on ESPN debut drew in a peak of 1.2 million viewers Saturday night for the Keith Thurman vs Luis Collazo fight. The two hour telecast was the most watched boxing card across any ESPN boxing event all year. The main event averaged 1 million viewers with the entire card drawing an average of 800K.

While the numbers are lower than anticipated summer boxing hasn't always drawn the biggest numbers. Keith Thurman isn't exactly a star on his own and putting him against Luis Collazo wasn't going to draw in many more viewers. PBC on ESPN has some big names coming up in their next two scheduled fights with Danny Garcia taking on Paulie Malignaggi on August 1st and Leo Santa Cruz taking on Abner Mares August 29th.
