Andre Berto on Mayweather: I know it will be a great fight

Former welterweight champion Andre Berto released a statement yesterday regarding rumors that he will be squaring off against Floyd Mayweather on September 12th at the MGM Grand. While nothing has been confirmed rumors are floating that a bout between Mayweather and Berto is almost done.

"I'm happy to be in the running for this fight and am definitely up for the challenge. I know it will be a great fight if it happens."
