Scott Quigg (31-0, 23 KO's) obliterated Kiko Martinez (32-6, 24 KO's) within two rounds Saturday night in Manchester in what many thought would be hard fought contest between two good fighters. Martinez looked good in the first round but in the second round he was knocked down hard by Quigg. Martinez never regained his composure. The Quigg-Martinez fight ended just before nemesis Carl Frampton's fight began over in the United States. Quigg and Frampton have been going back and forth for the past couple months, and had a fight fall through. Frampton recently signed with advisor Al Haymon, though a fight between Frampton and Quigg could still be made.
