McDonnell-Kameda Rematch Sept 6th

Tomoki Kameda (31-1, 19KOs) and Jamie McDonnell (26-2-1, 12KOs) will meet again this September 6th as part of the Premier Boxing Champions on CBS. Also on the card, Anthony Dirrell (27-1-1, 22KOs) taking on Marco Antonio Rubio (59-7-1, 51KOs). The fight will take place @ American Bank Center, Corpus Christi, Texas.

McDonnell & Kameda fought May 9th @ State Farm Arena, Hidalgo, Texas, USA. In their last fight Jamie McDonnell won by UD with scores, judges: Ignacio Robles 114-113, Lynne Carter 114-113, Nelson Vazquez 114-113. McDonnell was down in round three but punched threw with the W. The fight is scheduled for twelve rounds for the WBA World bantamweight title.

Anthony Dirrell is coming off a lost to Badou Jack this past April where he lost by MD, scores judges: Hubert Minn 112-116, Rey Danseco 113-115, Robert Hecko 114-114. Marco Antonio Rubio is also coming off a lost to Gennady Golovkin last Oct where he was knocked out in two rounds. This is a scheduled super middleweight bout for ten rounds.
