Cornelius “K9″ Bundrage (34-5, 19 KOs) the current IBF jr middleweight world champion will take on Jermall Charlo (21-0, 16 KOs) on Sunday afternoon, September 6th at the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a schedule 12 round bout that will air on CBS as part of Premier Boxing Champions. Bundrage-Charlo will headline the Sunday afternoon event that will also feature Jamie McDonnell vs Tomoki Kameda & Anthony Dirrell vs Marco Antonio Rubio.
Bundrage-Charlo were set to meet this past July but the fight was postponed due to an eye injury that required stitches for Bundrage. He last fought against Carlos Molina in Oct 2014 where he won by twelve round UD, scores: judges: Nelson Vazquez 117-106, Michael Ancona 116-109, Pasquale Procopio 115-110. Charlo is currently undefeated and is coming off a win against Michael Finney in March where he won by ten round UD, scores: judges: Patricia Morse Jarman 100-90, Dave Moretti 100-90, Richard Ocasio 100-90.
