Result: Bute stops Di Luisa in four

Lucian Bute returned to the ring after a long layoff. Bute came out in the first couple of rounds shaking off the ring rust. Bu the third round he was landing the lead left very well. Di Luisa show some success with the left hook. Di Luisa was not doing anything that was really testing Bute. Di Luisa’s right eye showed damaged early by the third round. Going into the fourth round Bute dropped Di Luisa with a overhand left, he recovered but could not handle the attacked and his corner threw in the towel. The fight took place @ Bell Centre Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
