Sullivan Barrera accepts Artur Beterbiev eliminator

Sullivan Barrera (16-0, 11 KOs) has accepted an offer from the IBF to square off against Artur Beterbiev (9-0, 9 KOs) in an IBF eliminator. The winner of the fight will be the mandatory to face IBF title holder Sergey Kovalev.

"I'm excited to finally get my opportunity. I'm looking forward to the fight. I don't know anything about Beterbiev. Only thing I know is to get to the top I have to beat him. Looking forward to the opportunity." Barrera stated. Both Barrera and Beterbiev are considered to be two of the top contenders in the light heavyweight division. The winner will be in line to face the king of the light heavyweight division Sergey Kovalev.
