Saunders-Lee postponed – again!

It seems as if the fight between Andy Lee (34-2-1, 24KOs) and Billy Joe Saunders (22-0, 12KOs) is not met to happen. The fight was originally scheduled for September 12th in Andy Lee’s hometown. That fight was moved to October 10th because Lee was sick with a virus. Now the fight is being reschedule again because Saunders was injured in training. Saunders, reportedly suffered a cut over one of his eyes during sparring. The Lee-Saunders fight will now be rescheduled for either November or December.

I would say at this point Andy Lee could look for another opponent and push the Saunders fight back to January. I know this is a bit risky because anything can happen in boxing.
