Jackson-Uzcategui on FS1 Oct 6th

Julius “The Chef” Jackson (19-0, 15 KOs) squares off against Jose “Bolivita” Uzcategui (23-1, 19 KOs) Tue, Oct 06 2015 @ The Dancehall San Antonio, Texas, USA. The fight will be televised on Fox Sports 1 starting @ 9pm ET. The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds of boxing part of the Premier Boxing Champions series.

Julius Jackson, was last seen in Dec 2014 against Jonathan Nelson where he won by a TKO in the ninth round. Jackson is currently undefeated with a 79% knockout ratio. He started is pro boxing career in 2009 when he faced Marvin Blair and won by UD. “With my father being who he is, my dream has always been to reach this level and then surpass this level,” said Jackson.

In Jose Uzcategui last fight he defeated Daniel Eduardo Yocupicio by a first round knockout this past February. He only has one lost on his record to Matt Korobov last June by UD, scores: judges: Levi Martinez 91-97, Dennis Nelson 92-96, Jeff Sinnett 91-97. Uzcategui was down twice in 7th round. He made is boxing debut in 2011 winning against Ramiro Rosales. Uzcategui “I’m so excited for an opportunity to fight in the U.S. again and I plan on making the most of it,” said Uzcategui.
