Unbeaten heavyweights Anthony Joshua (12W 0L 14KOs 0D), and Dillian Whyte (16W 0L 13KOs 0D) will meet December 12th @ O2 Arena (Millenium Dome), Greenwich, London, United Kingdom. They will fight for the Commonwealth (British Empire) heavyweight title scheduled for 12 rounds and promoted by Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing). The fight will be televised on Sky Sports.
Anthony Joshua is coming off a BIG first round knockout over the weekend. He is currently undefeated sporting a 100% knockout ratio. He started his pro boxing career in 2013 with a first round knockout over Emanuele Leo. Anthony Joshua has yet to go more then 4 rounds in his professional career stopping every one of his opponents within three.
Dillian Whyte, is also coming off a big knockout this past weekend over Brian Minto. Whyte is also undefeated with a 81% knockout ratio. Whyte has yet to go past four rounds in his career since his debut in 2011.
Whyte beat Joshua early in their amateur careers before Joshua went on to claim gold at the London 2012 Olympics, and with sparks flying in the build-up to Saturday’s action, the blue touch paper has already been lit for a huge night in December.
