Vazquez-Mendez added to Oct 6th PBS card

Miguel Vazquez (35-4, 13KOs) and Argenis Mendez (22-3-1, 12KOs) will face each other on October 6th from The Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas. This is part of the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 and FOX Deportes. Headlining the card is Julius Jackson vs Jose Uzcategui.

Miguel Vazquez is coming off a win against Jerry Belmontes this past March. Miguel Vazquez has a stacked resume with names like, Mickey Bey, Marvin Quintero, Ji-Hoon Kim, Breidis Prescott, Timothy Bradley Jr and Saul Alvarez. He started his boxing career in 2009 against superstar Saul Alvarez, losing by a close split decision, scores: judges: Roberto Rodriguez Barajas 37-39, Jesus Hernandez R. 39-37, Juan Jose Chavez 37-40.

Argenis Mendez last fought in February winning against Daniel Evangelista Jr. He hails from San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic and fights out of Brooklyn, New York, USA.
