New bouts planned for Cotto-Canelo event

Two world title fights, Takashi Miura vs. Francisco Vargas and Randy Caballero vs. Lee Haskins are planned to be added to the Miguel Cotto vs "Canelo" Alvarez, event on November 21st HBO PPV. The bouts have been agreed on and waiting for official announcement.

Takashi Miura (29-2-2, 22 KOs), of Japan, will make a mandatory defense against Francisco Vargas (22-0-1, 16 KOs). This will be Miura fifth defense of the WBC World super featherweight title. This is a scheduled 12 round fight. Vargas is coming off an impressive eight-round knockout against Will Tomlinson this past March. He is currently undefeated & started his boxing career in 2010.

Randy Caballero (22-0, 13 KOs), will make his mandatory defense against England's Lee Haskins. Haskins (32-3, 14 KOs) won the interim belt by 6 round knockout over Ryosuke Iwasa this past June. Haskins slipped in and grabbed the belt out from Caballero because he had to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.
