The date of the highly anticipated boxing match between the Danes Rudy Markussen and Patrick Nielsen seems to have fallen into place. Patrick Nielsen (27-1, 13 KOs) and Rudy Markussen will fight for Denmark country bragging rights on December 12th @ Brondby Hallen Brondby, Denmark. The event is promoted by Nisse Sauerland and will be a Light Heavyweight bout. The billed up to the fight had the two Danes mudslinging, especially when Markussen crashed one of Nielsen’s pre-fight press conferences.
Patrick Nielsen, southpaw, is coming off a 4th RD KO win over Samir Santos Barbosa this past September. He has won his last five bouts since losing to Dmitry Chudinov back in 2014 by a 12RD UD. This is Nielsen only lost on his resume. He has fought five times this year alone and is looking to continue this pace going into 2016.
Rudy Markussen last fought this past September defeating Ramazi Gogichashvili by a first round KO. He has three loses on his record, Brian Magee by KO, Sergey Tatevosyan by KO & Sven Ottke by UD.
